Flinders Island is the largest of 52 granite islands situated in eastern Bass Strait between Tasmania and mainland Australia. The waters around the islands are home to many species of fish and being so close to the warm waters of the continental shelf, the game fisherman can challenge the powerful Yellowfin Tuna, or the smaller Albacore.
